Rector’s welcome

Rev. Bonnie E EdwardsWelcome to our loving church. Although the words “all are welcome” may sound commonplace, the people of San Gabriel the Archangel really mean it! We are warm and gracious, welcoming all people. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey and whoever you are in age, race, or gender identification, you are welcome at San Gabriel’s. Love is the key–not exclusion. Please join us for Holy Communion.

We have a casual but reverent liturgy (the service), with room for silence and also for laughter. We take our love of God seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We do take seriously our call to share the love of God with our wider community through outreach. Our discussions leave room for questions of faith and learning and exploring where God is in our lives.

The Episcopal Church follows a lectionary of Bible readings. If you come to church every Sunday, by the end of three years you will have read the majority of Christian Holy Scriptures.

San Gabriel the Archangel Episcopal Church welcomes you to come and experience God’s love among us. Our service is at 10 AM on Sunday morning in San Gabriel’s beautiful light-filled sanctuary. There is a place waiting just for you.

With God’s peace and love, Bonnie+
The Rev. Bonnie E. Edwards, Rector
